Boundless Playgrounds®
is the first national nonprofit dedicated to helping
communities create extraordinary playgrounds where
all children, with and without disabilities, can
develop essential skills for life as they learn
together through play. Boundless Playgrounds
provides leadership, training, and technical and
support services to promote play environments that
are barrier-free and provide children of all
abilities with developmental advantages. There are
more than 100 BoundlessTM playgrounds
open in more than 20 states and Canada, and dozens
more are currently in development. Boundless
Playgrounds, based in Connecticut, was founded in
1997 by a passionate team of parents and

Center for Person's with Disabilities at Utah State

parents, advocates, communities, play environment
designers and equipment manufacturers in their
efforts to create inclusive play environments for
all children.
